I feel like the concept art really captures the monsterous-armor carapace look, too, and yet is still able to identify as feminine. It's like they asked for Kerrigan as the base design and ended up regressing back to Samus for broader audience appeal?

Also, that lazer-sword-shaped arm cannon! OMG that would've been cool!

Can you share any insight into the direction Riot gave in response to this, Bravo? I'd be fun to understand their line of thinking.
